PARAMUS, N.J. - Western Union has introduced "Quick Check," which it said allows credit card issuing banks to offer cash advances to their customers.

The Quick Check, which is payable to an individual customer, is integrated with a Western Union message and sent directly to the cardholder. Checks can be deposited in the individual's personal account to be used for purchases or payments.

Western Union described these checks as consisting of up to four sequentially numbered bank checks with messages conveying marketing material and other information to the consumer.
