CardWorks Servicing LLC, which does account servicing and portfolio management for credit card issuers and acquirers, has renewed its credit card processing agreement with First Data Corp. of Atlanta.
CardWorks, in Woodbury, N.Y., has used First Data since 1993 and renewed its agreement with the company for five years, First Data, a unit of the Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. private-equity firm, said on Tuesday.
"As a long-time partner, First Data has consistently delivered for us," Don Berman, the chairman and chief executive of CardWorks, said in a press release.
CardWorks also services debit cards, prepaid cards and other payments products.
