Carolina Trust in N.C. Adds Auto Dealership Exec to Board

Carolina Trust Bank in Lincolnton, N.C., has named an auto dealership executive to its board.

The $333 million-asset company said in a press release that it had appointed Jennifer Marion Mills to its board on Friday, filling a vacancy. She will be up for election at the company's annual meeting next year, Chief Executive Jerry Ocheltree said in an interview.

Mills is an executive at Randy Marion Automotive Group, a General Motors dealership in Mooresville, N.C.

Carolina Trust added Mills to the board, in part, to help develop a presence in Mooresville, Johnathan Rhyne, Carolina Trust's chairman, said in the release. Carolina Trust opened a loan production office in Mooresville in November 2013.
