Rocky Mount, N.C. - Centura Banks Inc. said it planned to unveil Pocket Check, a product that will combine the features of a direct-debit transaction card with conventional automated teller machine access.
Pocket Check is a version of the Visa Check card, formerly Visa Debit. It can be used at any point of sale that accepts Visa cards, and purchase amounts or ATM withdrawals will be deducted from a checking account.
