CEO of MainSource Bank in Ind. to Retire

Daryl Tressler will retire as president and CEO of MainSource Bank in Greensburg, Ind., at the end of this year.

During his 43 years with the bank, Tressler worked in accounting, mortgage lending, commercial banking and other areas and was president of several affiliate entities. He also served as chief banking officer of the $4 billion-asset MainSource Financial Group, the bank's holding company.

"Daryl is an extremely talented banker who has been a strong and steady leader in our company and in our community," Archie Brown Jr., president and CEO of MainSource Financial, said in a press release Wednesday. "We have been fortunate to have Daryl work for us for his whole career."

MainSource has been an active acquirer in recent years. It has bought two banks since the beginning of 2014, MBT Bancorp and Cheviot Financial, and currently has a deal pending to purchase FCB Bancorp in Louisville, Ky.
