Coconut Grove in Miami Names Lending Chief

Coconut Grove Bank in Miami has appointed Donald Putnam chief lending officer.

Putnam, who was also made an executive vice president, will be in charge of commercial and consumer lending for the $592 million-asset lender, according to a press release Tuesday. He replaces former chief lending officer Rick Kuci, who was promoted to president and chief executive of the bank in July.

Putnam most recently served as chief lending officer, market president and executive vice president at First Southern Bank in Boca Raton, Fla.

Coconut Grove announced in January that it had appointed Samuel Milne, the former chief financial officer of the troubled U.S. Century Bank, as its new CFO.
