Columbia Gets Out from Tarp

Columbia Banking System Inc. in Tacoma, Wash., has repaid the $76.9 million it received under the Troubled Asset Relief Program.

The $4.1 billion-asset company, which got the infusion from the Treasury Department's Capital Purchase Program in November 2008, said Wednesday that it had repaid the funds this week.
