HOUSTON, -- Comerica Bank has opened itsnewest location at 370 Greens Road in north Houston, continuing anaggressive strategy to expand its South Texas presence. The GreenspointBanking Center is the fifth new office Comerica has opened in the Houstonarea this year.

It issituated to allow us to serve customers in the Greenspoint market and atBush Intercontinental Airport," said Gary Orr, Comerica's Houston Marketpresident. "In addition to the retail team at this new office, the officehas veteran middle market and small business bankers to serve businesses inthe immediate vicinity. We believe this strategy differentiates us from ourcompetition."
Comerica, which opened another north Houston banking center at 8830Spring Cypress earlier this year, also has recently opened new locations inwest Houston and inside Loop 610. The Greenspoint Banking Center isComerica's 28th banking center in Greater Houston. Comerica plans to openup to three more offices in the Houston area this year.
On March 6, Comerica announced plans to relocate its corporateheadquarters to Dallas, making Comerica the largest bank holding companyheadquartered in Texas. The relocation is expected to take place by the endof the third quarter in 2007.
