CommunityBank of Texas has appointed a longtime Houston banker as its president.
Travis Jaggers will be responsible for 28 branches in Houston and southeast Texas for the four-year-old Beaumont, Texas, bank. The $1.4 billion-asset bank said in a Thursday press release that it opened a branch in Tomball, Texas, in March and is planning a new location.
With 35 years of banking experience, Jaggers previously served as an executive vice president and chief lending officer at Sterling Bank.
