ControlScan Inc., a provider of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance services, is offering new services it said would streamline the compliance process for small and midsize merchants.
"Our expanded security consulting services bring added confidence that each business we work with is correctly interpreting the PCI DSS and taking the proper actions to achieve and maintain compliance, whether they are service providers, [independent sales organizations] and acquirers serving Level 4 merchants or merchants themselves," ControlScan's chief executive officer, Joan Herbig, said in a press release Wednesday.
The Alpharetta, Ga., company's new services are divided into two areas: a Security Assessment service and a Security Engineering service.
The former verifies that systems are in place and policy procedures satisfy PCI DSS. The latter provides technical testing and guidance to clients.
