Credit Network announced that its suite of credit-reporting products would be available through Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter network.

"Until now, our customers were not able to access the latest automated underwriting technology and get the credit agency service and support we have provided them in the past," said Richard Downing Jr., Credit Network's executive vice president.

The company said that when a "referred" or a "caution" message are received over Desktop Underwriter, lenders will be able to immediately order a stepped-up credit report. The additional report will either resolve the credit issues or help the lender find alternative funding.

Credit Network has more than 500 clients nationally, including BankBoston, North American Mortgage Corp., and Principal Residential Mortgage Corp.
