American Airlines Federal Credit Union announced Tuesday that it has chosen the Episys core processing system of Jack Henry & Associates Inc. of Monett, Mo.
Episys is produced by Jack Henry's Symitar division, which provides 750 credit unions with core products and services.
"Symitar's Episys system will offer the credit union robust functionality, customization capabilities to deliver product enhancements faster, and the ability to tailor our products and services to better meet our members' needs," said Gary Lindsey, chief information officer and vice president of AAFCU, in the release.
The conversion is expected to take 18 months. AAFCU, of Fort Worth, has 232,000 members and serves the retired and current employees of American Airlines Inc. It has $5.6 billion in assets.
