Bluepoint Solutions said Thursday that a handful of credit unions have agreed to offer the vendor's mobile check depositing system.
Technology Credit Union in San Jose, Calif.; New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque; and Financial Partners Credit Union in Los Angeles are using Bluepoint's QwikDeposit ToGo mobile remote deposit capture platform. Bluepoint announced last year that Mountain America Credit Union in Salt Lake City was also using the technology.
Hal Tilbury, the chief executive of the Vista, Calif., vendor, said in a press release that its platform can be set up quickly, giving small financial institutions the ability to compete with larger ones that offer the service to their mobile banking customers.
Bluepoint's mobile RDC platform uses imaging technology owned by Mitek Systems Inc. of San Diego.
