Diebold Adds Global Services Exec

The ATM maker and bank technology provider Diebold has named Sal Mahbouba as vice president of global services.

In his new role, Mahbouba will lead the company's global infrastructure and service technology divisions. Mahbouba most recently worked for five years at Avaya, a business communications firm in Santa Clara, Calif. Before that, he spent more than a decade at Oracle, where he was responsible for process optimization architecture.

"His extensive experience in the services industry will help us remain a best-in-class service organization as we continue to evolve our strategy and processes," says George Mayes, Diebold's chief operating officer, in a July 14 press release.
