JPMorgan Chase named Bell, the chief financial officer of The Boeing Co., to its board on Tuesday. He also joined Chase's audit committee.

A 40-year veteran of Boeing, Bell has experience overseeing business performance and strategic growth initiatives, JPMorgan Chase said in a press release. He is responsible for Boeing Capital Corp., a customer financing subsidiary, and Boeing Shared Services, which provides facilities management, human resources and other services to Boeing's business units.
Bell also serves on boards for Dow Chemical Co., the Chicago Urban League, World Business Chicago and the Chicago Economic Club.
