Jack Henry & Associates Inc. said Tuesday that eight credit unions have agreed to use its banking software platform.
The Monett, Mo., technology company said the credit unions replaced their existing technology with Jack Henry's Cruise platform during the past 60 days.
Among these credit unions is the $45 million-asset Eastern Credit Union in Johnson City, Tenn.
"Our previous processor could not provide us the quality of service we deserved, which further supported our decision to convert to Cruise," Peggy Brown, the credit union's chief executive, said in a press release.
The platform is used by about 175 small to midsize credit unions, Jack Henry said.
