EverBank Financial (EVER) in Jacksonville, Fla., is hosting a sweepstakes giving NFL fans a chance to win a trip to the Super Bowl in February. The game is being held in New Orleans, a city that EverBank's Chief Executive Robert Clements has his own ties to.
Clements, who grew up in New Orleans, was once a camp counselor to current NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning, who also grew up in The Big Easy. Both have led their teams to Super Bowl victories. Peyton, who currently plays for the Denver Broncos, won the championship in 2007 while with the Indianapolis Colts. Eli won in 2008 and again in 2012 with the New York Giants.
"I've had the pleasure of knowing the Manning family, and I've been a lifelong fan of football," Clements says.

To try to win this year's Super Bowl contest, participants must "like" EverBank Field on Facebook and then enter the drawing from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31.
The grand prize is a trip for two to New Orleans, including round-trip airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations for up to four nights and $10,000 in cash. The cash can be used to purchase tickets to the Super Bowl. Other winners will receive a $50 gift card to NFLShop.com.
"New Orleans is the ideal host for a Super Bowl," says Clements, who plans on attending the game himself. "It will provide a great experience for the winner of our sweepstakes. I always thought it should be the permanent home of the Super Bowl or alternate with Jacksonville."
Although the Jaguars will not make the playoffs, Clements is looking forward to possibly seeing the Broncos or the Giants in the game.
EverBank has no immediate plans to expand its branch network into New Orleans, but "it would be exciting if that made sense for us down the road," he says.
