First National Bank of Omaha has hired a former chief operating officer of Chase Merchant Services LLC as the president of its payment-processing unit.
Diana M. Mehochko will join First National Merchant Solutions on Monday.
She became the chief operating officer of Chase Merchant Services, a fifty-fifty joint venture of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and First Data Corp., in 2001 and left the following year.
She had come to First Data in 1995 when it bought First Financial Management Corp., at whose Nabanco she had worked.
Most recently Ms. Mehochko was the president of DMM Consulting Inc. of Parkland, Fla.
First National Omaha is a unit of the multibank First National of Nebraska Inc.
MIDDLE ATLANTICProvident Bank of Montebello, N.Y., has made Robert J. Sansky the president of its northern region, which is made up of Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, and Putnam counties.
Mr. Sansky was the chief retail banking officer of the Provident Bancorp Inc. unit and was earlier its director of human resources. He joined the bank 19 years ago.
Provident Bancorp grew to $2.5 billion of assets with its Oct. 1 purchase of Warwick Community Bancorp Inc., whose Warwick Savings Bank had branches in Orange and Putnam counties.
Harleysville National Corp. in Pennsylvania has hired John W. Eisele as an executive vice president and the president of the wealth management and private banking division of its Harleysville National Bank.
Mr. Eisele came to the division, Millennium Wealth Management and Private Banking, from Fleet Bank, where he had been an executive vice president of Quick & Reilly Inc. (Bank of America Corp., which bought Fleet in April, has merged Quick & Reilly into its brokerage unit, Banc of America Investments.)
He has 20 years of investment and wealth management experience. Harleysville National Corp. has $2.8 billion of assets.
SOUTHEASTEncore Bank of Houston has hired Thomas Ray as the president of its Florida operations.
The $1.2 billion-asset bank has private client offices in Naples, Belleair, Clearwater, Fort Myers, and Sun City Center.
Mr. Ray was the president of Orion Bank of Naples. He has 25 years of Florida banking experience.
WESTBank Holdings of Reno has made John N. Donovan its chief credit officer and promoted him to executive vice president.
Mr. Donovan has been the credit administrator and a senior vice president of Bank Holdings' $238 million-asset Nevada Security Bank for the past year.
Before that he had worked for Colonial Bank in Reno for five years. He held jobs as a commercial real estate manager, a business development officer, and an area president at Colonial.
