AnchorBanCorp Inc. of Madison, Wis., said Dale Ringgenberg would become the chief financial officer of the company and the CFO and treasurer of its $4.4 billion-asset AnchorBank at the end of June, when Michael Helser retires.

Mr. Ringgenberg has been the bank's controller since 1991. He joined it in 1976 as an accountant.

Mr. Helser, who joined the bank in 1974, has held the CFO and treasurer jobs since 2003.


Lorain National Bank in Ohio has promoted John D. Simacek to its retail group executive.

Mr. Simacek was the residential lending manager for the $851 million-asset unit of LNB Bancorp Inc. He joined the bank in 2005 from Fifth Third Bank, where he had been a vice president and a regional manager.


MIDDLE ATLANTICAmericasBank Corp. of Towson, Md., Has hired Ellen R. Fish as the president of Towson Community Bank, which operates as a division of its $108 million-asset AmericasBank.

Ms. Fish had been a senior vice president of commercial banking at Provident Bank of Maryland since 1997.


SOUTHEASTCommunity Bankshares Inc. of Orangeburg, S.C., has hired Jason Starnes as its chief information officer and a senior vice president.

Mr. Starnes was the director of data delivery at South Financial Group, a $14.4 billion-asset, two-bank holding company in Greenville.

Community Bankshares owns the $576 million-asset Community Resource Bank.


Fauquier Bankshares Inc. of Warrenton, Va., has promoted Eric P. Graap to executive vice president.

Mr. Graap will remain the chief financial officer and the treasurer of the company and its $507 million-asset Fauquier Bank, which he joined in 2000 as a senior vice president.


Cardinal Bank of Tysons Corner, Va., has promoted Guy S. Johnson to executive vice president.

Mr. Johnson will remain the head of retail banking, a job he has held since joining the $1.7 billion-asset unit of Cardinal Financial Corp. in 2004 as a senior vice president.


Greene County Bancshares Inc. of Greeneville, Tenn., has promoted James E. Adams to executive vice president.

Mr. Adams, who was a senior vice president, will remain the chief financial officer, a job he has held since joining the $1.8 billion-asset company in 2005.


Old Harbor Bank of Clearwater, Fla., said William W. Short would become its chief executive officer at the start of next year when Barry K. Miller retires.

Mr. Short will remain the president of the $171 million-asset bank, a job he has held since January, 2006, but give up his job as chief operating officer, which he has been since its opening in 2003.


WEST

Atlantic Pacific Bank of Santa Rosa, Calif., has hired Jerry W. Meyer as its senior vice president of corporate banking.

Mr. Meyer was a vice president and manager at Union Bank of California in San Francisco. He has 30 years of commercial banking experience in the Bay area.

Atlantic Pacific Bank, which has $30 million of assets, was established last July.


Tamalpais Bank of San Rafael, Calif., has promoted Karry Bryan to chief accounting officer and senior vice president.

Ms. Bryan had been the controller of the $500 million-asset unit of Epic Bancorp since joining it in 2005.

Before that she had held various jobs over a 10-year period with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Charles Schwab Corp., and Bank of Marin.
