PrivateBank and Trust Co. of Chicago has hired Joseph V. Dolan as managing director and director of treasury management.
Before joining the $2.9 billion-asset unit of PrivateBancorp Inc., Mr. Dolan was a senior vice president and regional manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he was in charge of treasury management professionals throughout the Midwest.
The $4.3 billion-asset PrivateBancorp has four other units that share the PrivateBank name.
MIDDLE ATLANTICCommunity National Bank of Great Neck, N.Y., has hired Victoria LeFayt as assistant vice president and branch manager and promoted Cheryl Ann Shearer to assistant vice president and assistant branch manager.
Both will work out of the bank's Woodbury branch, which opened this month.
Before joining the $172 million-asset bank, Ms. LeFayt was a vice president and branch manager for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Before that she had been a project manager and mortgage originations manager at Citibank.
Ms. Shearer was a senior customer service representative at Community National for four months. Before that she had been the senior customer service representative at Commerce Bancorp Inc. of Cherry Hill, N.J.
SOUTHEASTCoastal Banking Co. Inc. of Beaufort, S.C., has hired Paul R. Garrigues as chief financial officer of the holding company and its banking subsidiaries, Lowcountry National Bank in Beaufort and First National Bank of Nassau County in Fernandina Beach, Fla.
Mr. Garrigues has more than 30 years of financial, accounting, and banking experience. Most recently he was senior vice president of secondary marketing at Seacoast National Bank in Stuart, Fla.
Federal Trust Corp. of Sanford, Fla., has promoted Dennis T. Ward to president, chief executive officer, and director of the company and chairman, president, and CEO of its $719 million-asset Federal Trust Bank.
Mr. Ward joined Federal Trust in February to provide overall coordination of its strategic initiatives. He has 31 years of banking experience.
Before joining Federal Trust he had been the central Florida president for Regions Bank of Birmingham, Ala., for nine years.
SOUTHWESTAmerican National Bank of Texas in Terrell has hired Lynn Prude as regional president for Dallas County.
Ms. Prude has 29 years of banking experience and most recently was vice chairman and acting regional chief executive officer for Dallas operations at Sterling Bank of Houston.
Before that she had been a vice president in the business banking division of Bank One Corp. in Dallas.
In addition, American National Bank, a unit of ANB Holding Co. Ltd. in Terrell, has hired four people to staff the branch it plans to open in Dallas County by the end of the first quarter.
Jon Don Martin will be the branch's president, Jessica Jimenez will be a commercial account manager and assistant vice president, Shannon Bettis will be a commercial lender, and Dianne Olson will be an administrative assistant.
WESTCommerce National Bank of Newport Beach, Calif., has hired Thomas S. Flannery as senior vice president and director of operations.
Mr. Flannery joined the $177 million-asset bank with more than 29 years of experience in bank operations, including branch administration, risk management, and new product development.
Most recently he was the vice president and branch administrator of Antelope Valley Bank.
