Executive Changes: Ronald LaBeau To Be Chief Exec At Monroe Bank In

Monroe Bank and Trust, a $1 billion-asset bank in Monroe, Mich., has named Ronald D. LaBeau to become president and chief executive officer on Dec. 31.

Mr. LaBeau, 54, has been executive vice president and chief lending officer since January. He came to the bank in 1995 from First of America Bank, where he was vice president for the Monroe area.

He will succeed Merel F. Keck, 70, who will retire, as will vice chairmen John F. Weaver, 82, and William J. Sunderland, 71. Mr. Weaver and Mr. Sunderland have relinquished some of their duties over the past two years, the bank said.
