Allstate has elected Siddharth Mehta, former CEO at TransUnion, to its board of directors.
Mehta was president and CEO of TransUnion, a global provider of information and risk management solutions, from 2007 through 2012.
Mehta held a variety of positions with HSBC Finance Corp. and HSBC North America Holdings from 1998 to 2007, including chairman and CEO of HSBC Finance Corp. and HSBC North American Holdings.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
