Fair, Isaac offers credit scoring tool.

Lenders will soon be able to develop and automate systems designed to manage credit decision-making with Fair, Isaac & Co.'s newest release, Application ScoreWare software. The system helps set lending decision criteria for cross-selling, pricing, credit limit assignment, dealer reserve assignment, reviews, and rate structure. Users are presented with a series of screens that will allow them to create a dual score matrix and run action strategies based on the scores. Reports track the impact of scores and decisions.

The original version was released in 1992. It performs all functions required to score a credit application, including scorecard installation and maintenance, scoring of application and credit bureau characteristics, and monitoring of scorecard performance.

Fair Isaac is based in San Rafael, Calif.
