The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s advisory committee on economic inclusion will hold its seventh meeting Thursday since it was formed in March 2007.
The meeting, to be held at the FDIC's Washington headquarters, will focus on "prize-linked" savings programs and challenges institutions face when they attempt to reach underserved areas.
Speakers will include Peter Tufano, the Sylvan C. Coleman Professor of Financial Management at Harvard Business School, and Ellen Lazar, who serves as the special adviser to FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair for consumer policy.
