FDIC to Discuss Info-Sharing Agreement

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. will hold its next board meeting on Monday, July 12, the agency said Wednesday.

The sole item on its agenda is a proposed information-sharing agreement among regulators. Little is known about the plan, though regulators are required to share more data as part of the regulatory reform bill. The legislation has passed the House, but has not yet been approved by the Senate.
