Fed Imposes Limits on an Oregon Bank

The owner of a bank in Oregon cannot pay dividends without prior Federal Reserve approval.

The Fed on Wednesday released its agreement with PremierWest Bancorp, which owns PremierWest Bank in Medford, Ore.

Under the agreement, the company cannot declare dividends, take on debt or redeem stock shares without prior Fed approval.
