The Edmond, Okla., company has been focusing more on Colorado, where it has four branches. Norman is located outside of the $306 million-asset company's core Oklahoma markets of Oklahoma City and Colorado.

Town & Country Bancshares in Guthrie, Okla., will buy the Norman branch, which has roughly $13 million of deposits, says James Canton, First Commercial's president and chief executive. Canton says his company should complete the sale "before the end of the year."

Town & Country is the parent of the $53 million-asset Oklahoma State Bank. Keith Ventris, Oklahoma State Bank's president, could not be reached for comment.
