First Foundation Advisors, a unit of First Foundation Inc. of Irvine, Calif., has hired Alan G. Remedios as managing director of fixed-income investments.
Remedios will run the company's municipal bond portfolios and fixed-income strategies for taxable and nontaxable clients.
He had been a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager for City National Asset Management, a unit of City National Bank, where he had worked since 1999. Before that he worked for U.S. Trust Co. and Wells Fargo Asset Management.
First Foundation, which announced the hiring last week, provides consulting, wealth and investment management, banking and trust services to high-net-worth individuals.
