The Senate Banking Committee has planned a hearing Thursday with regulators on the implementation of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

The hearing will mark the first oversight hearing in the Senate since the law was signed July 21.

Under the law, regulators must complete dozens of new regulations within the next two years.

The witness list includes Neal Wolin, the deputy Treasury Secretary; Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke; Sheila Bair, the chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.; Mary Schapiro, the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission; Gary Gensler, the chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission; and Acting Comptroller of the Currency John Walsh.
