First National of Nebraska Inc. has agreed to acquire the $34 million-asset Mills County Bank of Glenwood, Iowa, the Omaha World-Herald reported Friday.
The acquisition would give the multibank holding company a third bank and two more branches in Iowa. First National owns 16 banks in Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, South Dakota, Georgia, Iowa, and Texas.
The price of the deal was not disclosed, the newspaper said.
Mills County's first-quarter income dropped 35%, to $48,000, from a year earlier.
