First Sound in Seattle Recruits Two Execs from Rival Banks

First Sound Bank in Seattle has recruited chief financial and administrative officers from rival banks.

First Sound said Thursday that it had hired Doug Stauduhar as chief financial officer. He succeeds Phyllis Nomura at the $132 million-asset bank, which did not say why Nomura left.

Stauduhar was CFO at Community Bank in Missoula, Mont., until the $9 billion-asset Glacier Bancorp in Kalispell, Mont., acquired its holding company, Montana Community Banks, in February of last year.

First Sound said Tuesday that it had hired Tammy Hanson as chief administrative officer, succeeding Dinah Quick. It did not say why Quick left. Hanson will manage all service support and delivery channels and will be involved in setting strategic objectives.

Hanson previously was manager of commercial and consumer technology at the $5 billion-asset HomeStreet Bank in Seattle. She worked at Fortune Bank in Seattle until its sale to HomeStreet in 2013.
