Heartland Payment Systems Inc. on Monday launched a service that streamlines payroll data, credit card sales and credit card tip data for restaurateurs at the point of sale.
The Princeton, N.J., processor said the Tip Manager service gives restaurant owners the ability to produce reports to assist auditors in the event of any kind of tax investigation. Heartland said it was developed with the input of industry experts and regulators.
"Heartland understands that tip reporting can often be challenging for many restaurants," Mark Strippy, Heartland's executive director of payroll services, said in a press release. "We have developed Heartland Tip Manager to help address one of the toughest issues in the industry."
