American Banker is now accepting applications for its annual Best Banks to Work For ranking.
Each year, the program helps recognize banks that do an exceptional job of providing their employees with great benefits, a welcoming work environment and unusual perks. The program is done in partnership with the Best Companies Group. In 2022,
Participation is free. To be considered for the Best Banks to Work For, companies must have at least 50 employees in the U.S. Retail, commercial, savings and mutual savings banks are all eligible as are thrifts, mutual associations and savings and loan associations. Credit unions are not eligible for this list. Instead, credit unions should apply for the
Best Companies Group will complete two assessments of applicants to determine the list of honorees. First, banks will complete a thorough questionnaire about employee benefits and policies. Second, employees will take an in-depth survey about their experience working for the applicant.
