Hypercom Corp. announced Tuesday that Credit Agricole SA, a Paris banking group, has begun rolling out about 25,000 of its payment card terminals to merchants.
The Scottsdale, Ariz., vendor said the deployment would continue throughout next year.
It is "a significant endorsement by one of the largest banking groups in Europe and marks the latest in a series of market-share gains in this important region," Kazem Aminaee, Hypercom's president and managing director for southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said in a press release.
