American Banker Named Best Website in Neal Awards

American Banker on Friday received the 2014 Jesse Neal Award for Best Website from the Association of Business Information and Media Companies.

The Neal Awards, which recognize the best in business-to-business magazines, named American Banker Magazine a finalist in two other categories. Jeff Horwitz and Maria Aspan were recognized in the best-profile category for their article "The Bank Doctor"; it took a close look at former banking regulator and Promontory Financial Group founder and chief executive Eugene Ludwig. American Banker's "Most Powerful Women in Banking and Finance" package was a finalist in the category of best cross-platform packages.

American Banker's Best Website win came against three other finalists: Crain's Detroit, Crain's New York and the agriculture site DTN/The Progressive Farmer. The four publications were recognized in the category of magazines with more than $7 million in gross advertising and circulation revenue.

The complete list of 2014 Neal Award finalists and winners is available on the association's website.
