In Brief: 1st Ohio Teams Up With Software Firm

CLEVELAND - First Ohio Mortgage Corp. has begun a strategic partnership with OnePipeline Inc., a Salt Lake City producer of automated loan compliance software for real estate and mortgage professionals.

Through the alliance, First Ohio, an affiliate of Realty One, can offer homebuyers immediate financing. With OnePipeline's technology, real estate agents will be able to initiate the mortgage process directly with their clients.

"Consumers prefer to receive all their services from one single source," said Richard A. Goldbach, president of First Ohio Mortgage. "OnePipeline's third-party loan origination compliance is a key component in driving our current and future business. Consumers develop a trusting relationship with the real estate agent they select for their home search or sale," and "the same trusted adviser can help them obtain their mortgage financing."

OnePipeline, which was launched in February, provides Web-based loan origination through real estate agents, home builders, and other financial professionals. Its software helps them comply with local, state, and federal laws.
