In Brief: ABA Developing Course with DigitalThink

WASHINGTON - The American Bankers Association has partnered with DigitalThink to develop an online bank-staff training course that is slated to be available to the group's members by early next year.

The 200-hour course will cover new regulatory, product, customer service, and sales topics - everything from privacy regulations to aggregation products.

"We can now offer our members the learning and technology tools necessary to carry their training and development programs to the next level and meet the expectations of today's financially sophisticated customers," Doug Adamson, executive director of the ABA's professional development group, said in a statement.

There will be a fee for the set-your-own-pace course, which will be part of the ABA's regular bank-staff training program.
