Acordia Inc., the insurance agency subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Co., announced Monday it had acquired the Speare & Co. insurance agency.
The acquisition was completed June 1 and is Acordia's 15th since being bought by Wells Fargo three years ago.
Speare & Co., of Sherman Oaks, Calif., provides property, liability, life, health, accident, and other insurance.
Acordia, of Chicago, is the nation's largest bank-owned insurance agency. It has more than 150 offices in 38 states.
