LONDON - Bank of America Corp. said Tuesday that it had named Barry Bobrow as head of its European syndicated finance division.

Mr. Bobrow will be responsible for origination, structuring, and distribution of all floating-rate debt, as well as near-par loan sales and trading. He will be based in London and oversee syndicated finance across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

He succeeded John Gregg, who will relocate to the bank's headquarter city of Charlotte, N.C. to be managing director, high-grade syndicate.

Mr. Bobrow has been with the bank for 14 years, most recently as a managing director with the leveraged finance group in Charlotte. There he focused on financial-sponsor and middle-market leveraged transactions.
