CHICAGO - Bank One Corp. has signed a 10-year agreement to use Alltel Corp.'s lending software and support.
The banking company will use Alltel's Advanced Loan System for consumer lending, business, and community banking. Bank One will run the software in its data center in Columbus, Ohio. The conversion will take three years, according to bank executives.
The Alltel software will mean faster and less costly business lending, said Jeff Gaia, Bank One's president of business banking.
Little Rock-based Alltel will help with the conversion and any software development or enhancement the bank decides to administer.
