BB&T Corp. has joined the surcharge-free automated teller machine network Allpoint Network, giving its customers free access to over 32,000 ATMs nationwide.
The Winston-Salem, N.C., banking company said one of its main goals in joining Allpoint is to give its customers access to more ATMs in Florida, where it currently operates only 107 ATMs.
Allpoint, which is owned by the Houston independent sales organization Cardtronics Inc., has more than 2,550 surcharge-free ATMs in Florida, all of which are at merchant locations.
