JERSEY CITY, N.J. Union Bank of California has selected software from Fundtech Ltd. to deliver Web-enabled automated clearing house services to its corporate customers.

The Fundtech Banker ACH software is to give Union Banks customers the ability to originate all types of ACH payments over the Internet, deliver payment files to the bank for processing, and automate receipts of incoming ACH advice data. The software is to be integrated with the banks Internet cash management infrastructure.
The $33.7 billion-asset Union Bank, the third-largest California commercial bank, is the primary subsidiary of UnionBanCal Corp., which was ranked as the 34th-largest originator of ACH payments last year by Nacha, the national payments association.
