BOCA RATON, Fla. Cenetec, an incubator of technology companies, has set up a broker-dealer designed to match private equity investors with venture capital opportunities.
The new unit, Innovation Capital LLC, will operate as a conduit between institutional and individual investors and start-up companies seeking access to $1 million and $10 million of equity.
Innovation Capital will also expand funding opportunities for companies that have received seed capital from Cenetec.
Cenetec, formerly CB Capital LLC, helps early-stage companies raise funds and offers strategic guidance, technology and business expertise, and facilities.
