In Brief: Chase Traders to Get Wireless Data Tool

NEW YORK - The global markets division of Chase Manhattan Corp. has signed an agreement with Datalink.net Inc., a wireless application service provider, to distribute market data to its traders over wireless devices.

With the agreement, Chase becomes the first customer of Global Markets Pro, a wireless application designed for traders and financial professionals in the global capital, derivative, and foreign exchange markets. It enables financial traders to duplicate their desktop information on a wireless device, letting them monitor market activity while away from their desks.

Chase helped San Jose, Calif.-based Datalink.net develop Global Markets Pro. Chase's global markets division expects to continue building on this platform, and Datalink.net will begin to market the product to other financial institutions.
