In Brief: Deutsche Forms Financial Sponsor Team

Deutsche Bank AG said it had hired seven executives from JPMorgan Private Bank to form a team within its U.S. private wealth management group that will focus on financial sponsors.

The Frankfurt company said Tuesday that it has hired David Carpenter and Elizabeth Engel as senior structured lending specialists, as well as Caroline Holl, Fabio Lindia, and Steven Young as senior private bankers.

They will report to Patrick Campion, the head of Deutsche Bank's U.S. private bank, and Timothy Schantz, the head of structured lending.

Jan Wysocki will also join the New York group as a senior private banker and will report to Mr. Campion, the company said. Deirdre Cherry was hired to head western lending and will be based in San Francisco. She will report to Mr. Schantz.
