Efmark-Bantek, the automated teller machine servicing company formed by the January merger of Bantek West Inc. and Efmark Premium Armored, changed its name last week to Pendum Inc.
The Westmont, Ill., company said the new name is a combination of the Latin words pendo, which means "value," and unum, which means "one."
Pendum said it decided to make the change after extensive market research and discussions with customers and staff members.
