In Brief: First Internet to Acquire Landmark of Ind.

First Internet Bancorp plans to acquire the $65.7 million-asset Landmark Financial Corp. of Indianapolis for $12 million in cash.

First Internet is the holding company for the $445 million-asset First Internet Bank of Indiana.

The deal would give First Internet its first full-service branch. The company currently has a branch, but it does not have teller lines.

Landmark Financial is a privately held holding company for Landmark Savings Bank, which has one branch, and Landmark Mortgage Co., which has three loan production offices. The deal, announced Tuesday, is expected to close in the first quarter and is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.
