In Brief: Fiserv Joins the Allpoint ATM Network

Hoping to attract more bank customers to its Accel/Exchange Network, Fiserv Inc. has joined the surcharge-free Allpoint Network of automated teller machines.

The Brookfield, Wis., banking technology vendor said that the agreement, announced Wednesday, would complement the no-fee service it offers bank customers through Accel/Exchange, No Sur.

Allpoint, which is operated by the Houston ATM independent sales organization Cardtronics Inc., offers its members access to 32,000 ATMs nationwide.

Mike Williams, the Fiserv EFT senior vice president who heads Accel/Exchange, said in a press release that providing access to Allpoint "will make membership in Accel/Exchange all the more valuable. Allpoint will be a boon to our members who require surcharge-free access coast-to-coast."
