NEW YORK - Fox-Pitt, Kelton Inc., an international investment banking and brokerage firm based in New York, opened a branch office in San Francisco recently.
The new office is the investment bank's second in the last five months. The firm, which is a unit of the Zurich insurer Swiss Re, opened a Hong Kong branch in July and also maintains offices in New York and London.
Fred Shahrabani, Fox-Pitt Kelton's chief executive officer, said having a physical presence in San Francisco lets the firm target West Coast investors.
