In Brief: Goldman Asset Arm Hires a Dutch Exec

NEW YORK — Goldman Sachs Asset Management has hired Ruud Hendriks as a managing director of institutional marketing in continental Europe and the Middle East.

Mr. Hendriks, who works out of London, focuses on increasing the company’s business, allocating resources, and enhancing client relationships overseas. He heads a team that concentrates on the Netherlands and Switzerland.

He was a senior executive vice president in the global institutional sales division at Robeco Institutional Asset Management of Rotterdam, where he had worked for 20 years.

The appointment was made Feb. 14.
